Skills Oasis for Employment Batch 2 Concludes in Kalaw The Myanmar YMCA successfully wrapped up the Skills Oasis for Employment Youth Camp on March 18, 2025, after an immersive and transformative eight-day program in the picturesque town of Kalaw, Shan State. Held from March 11 to 19, 2025, this impactful initiative brought together 27 young participants from the Yangon region, empowering them with essential soft skills for both personal growth and career advancement. Committee on Movement Strengthening Consultation and Strategic Planning The Asia and Pacific Alliance of YMCAs’ Committee on Movement Strengthening conducted a Movement Strengthening Consultation on March 6-8, 2025 at the YMCA of Hong Kong. The development of MS Coordination and Strategic Planning in the Asia and Pacific region was the main objective. Building Bridges of Faith and Fellowship: Asian YMCA Christian Mission Network in Singapore On 16 - 18 January 2025, Metropolitan YMCA and YMCA of Singapore had the privilege of hosting the core group of the Asia YMCA Christian Mission Network (AYCMN) Conference for its meeting in Singapore. As the host, Metropolitan YMCA helped set the stage for a meaningful gathering, organising a welcome dinner while seamlessly facilitating the programme for the core group for the duration of their stay.
